We provide a memorable experience to our guests, sharing the history and culture of the island along the way. Your driver will meet you at your desired pickup location—lobby or front of property—and begin the journey. During the scenic drive to the excursion site, your driver will share insights about Jamaica’s history, culture, and landmarks, and is happy to stop at points of interest at your request.

Once at the Martha Brae River, your driver will handle your entry fee. You’ll collect your welcome drink, then proceed to the loading area where you’ll board your bamboo raft with your guide and set off down the river.

Along the way, you can swim in the river, take photos, listen to music, and even stop at riverside vendors to purchase souvenirs, food, and drinks. You can also opt for an additional limestone foot massage—just ask your driver or raft captain. Complimentary stops for food, refreshments, and shopping are included, ensuring a truly authentic and enjoyable experience.

What To Expect

Your driver will pick you up at your chosen location and take you on a private journey to the Martha Brae River. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Montego Bay and Trelawny parish along the way, with optional stops at points of interest.

Upon arrival, your driver will pay your entry (based on the product rate booked), and you’ll receive a welcome drink and life vest. After a brief wait, board your bamboo raft with your guide and begin your relaxing trip down the river.

Enjoy swimming, taking photos, listening to music, and stopping at riverside vendors for souvenirs, snacks, or drinks. You’ll glide peacefully down the crystal-clear Martha Brae River, spotting fish and learning about the history of the area and its people.

• Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

• Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

• This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
